ICT Career Orientation 2018

A new edition of ICT Career Orientation - the largest professional orientation event in the field of Information and Communication Technology dedicated to pupils and students in educational institutions, including the higher technical and professional one, which took place on October 25th - 2018.

What was included in the program: Career Orientation / Practical Sessions on Topic Themes, moderated by professionals with extensive IT experience. Quality Assurance, Front End Development, Functional Programming, eCommerce, Computer Graphics, Warehouse Automation, System Administration, Satellite Communication, Agile, Scrum - are just some of the topics to be addressed at the event. ICT Job Shop, where participants will be able to discuss directly with potential employers and find out what are the terms of employment, job offers, internship opportunities. What companies are participating in the current edition? One of these attractive companies, of course - NetInfo.

The current edition gives young people the opportunity to know, interact and establish connections with leaders of the IT industry in Moldova. The event is held annually, starting in 2010. The event is designed to help young people with the choice of education, employment and professional development in the field of information and communication technologies.

We were happy to see that minute by minute the amount of interested young people that got to our stand was increasing. During some fast conversation that we had with them, we noticed that our nowadays generation realize that IT is the future and we were surprised, in a good way, that we do have people that can show an amazing profile as an IT specialist, even though they are young.

ICT Career Orientation is organized by the National Association of ICT Companies with the support of the United States Agency for International Development, the Swedish Government and Austrian Development Cooperation.
